Leaderboard Results

The balloon race has 2 leaderboards, the main leaderboard (built in 2008) and the widget leaderboard (built in 2020). Both leaderboards were built by 2 different programmers.

We had a race this week that was giving prizes to the top 20 racers and on both leaderboards balloons landing on the same number were giving reverse results.

We have therefore changed the code so that both leaderboards revert to alphabetical order for balloons (or ducks) ending on the same number.

The system is already programmed to avoid 1st & 2nd places landing on the same number to always give a clean winner.

With the above amendment the order of balloons before the start of a race will be alphabetical as they are all on the same number (0km).
