Sharing your URL

Following the server move in 2023 you now have unique URLs for all your pages:

You can now link directly to any part of your race. Examples below for your homepage, sales page, full leaderboard or balloons in flight:

https://www.balloonrace.net/beta

https://www.balloonrace.net/beta/registerballoon

https://www.balloonrace.net/beta/leaderboard

https://www.balloonrace.net/beta/islandcontent

The previous ASP server only allowed a unique link to your homepage which with a typo would divert to our demo race.

OLD INSTRUCTIONS:

The only URL you can share is your homepage address: [www.balloonrace.com/YOURNAME](https://www.balloonrace.com/YOURNAME)

This is your only unique URL. All other URLs are the same for all races:

https://www.balloonrace.com/register-a-balloon.asp

https://www.balloonrace.com/register-a-balloon-by-post.asp

https://www.balloonrace.com/island-content.asp

You cannot link direct to the "register a balloon" or "island content" pages. These pages show race information from the last homepage the browser visited. If the browser (or user) has not previously visited a race then the information displayed will be from the Demo Race.

So, for your users to buy a balloon they must first go to your race homepage and then click "Buy a Balloon" - they will then be buying a balloon from your race.

This is explained more clearly in the information below which shows the sites traffic over 7 days. The people visiting /find-a-balloon are searching on different races even though the URL is the same.
